Please pre-register all visitor’s contact information in your party, especially the email, as that is the primary method by which we will stay in touch. Upon arrival, please check the “beat map” at the kiosk near the ranch office (next to the big red barn). This rivers on the ranch are divided into beats to better manage the resource.
Due to increasingly high demand for recreational opportunities and our commitment to protecting the natural resources and the quality of each visitor’s experience, we may not be able to honor every request for recreational access.
There is no charge for recreational access to the Ruby Habitat Foundation’s Woodson Ranch, but as a non-profit we appreciate your donations in support of our efforts.
Fishing is catch-and-release, barbless hooks only. Peak fishing demand is July, August, and September. As in the past, we will limit the number of rods per day and assign fishing locations/beats to provide adequate rest days.
The Hill House has 3 bedrooms that can be made up as twins or kings. There are two baths and it is fully furnished. There is a $150 per person per night charge ($500 per night maximum) for the use of the Hill House. Regular check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am.
