Please pre-register all visitor’s contact information in your party, as that is the primary method by which we will stay in touch.
Upon arrival, please check in at ranch office (small cabin next to the big red barn). Here you’ll also find the “beat map” at the kiosk which shows how the river sections are divided into beats to better manage the resource.
Due to increasingly high demand for recreational opportunities and our commitment to protecting the natural resources and the quality of each visitor’s experience, we may not be able to honor every request for recreational access.
There is no charge for recreational access to the Ruby Habitat Foundation’s Woodson Ranch, but as a non-profit we appreciate your donations in support of our efforts.
Fishing is catch-and-release, barbless hooks only. Peak fishing demand is July, August, and September. As in the past, we will limit the number of rods per day and assign fishing locations/beats to provide adequate rest days.
