For the first time ever, the Ruby Habitat Foundation is partnering with B.R. McLean and Ruby River Products to provide one lucky donor a chance to own an authentic piece of fly fishing history.
The Phoenix short series of rods are extremely unique. The bamboo from which these rods are built came from the ashes of a devastating fire in 2017 that destroyed a bamboo rod building facility in Twin Bridges, Montana. The ‘rescued’ material creates a rod that is sweetheart to cast, and the warm amber color and the occasional ‘scorched’ markings are superb.
These rods are renown for their beauty, functionality, and style. The finite amount of rescued material means that each piece is a limited edition. With your 2026 donation of $500 or more, this rod could be yours.
For each donation of $500 or more, you’ll be provided one chance to win this 8 ft 5 weight handmade rod. Each additional $500 donation amount provides another entry to win- no limit to the number of entries.
Your donation plays a key role in conserving an important fisheries now and into the future.
